At times, parking for fans has been difficult at the Winchester400, but not anymore.
Fans will now have the opportunity to park, free-of-charge, in ahuge lot adjacent to the racetrack thanks to an agreement between the propertyowner and Winchester Speedway.
“We want to improve the fan experience every chance we get atWinchester Speedway,” said Bob Dillner, Promoter of Winchester Speedway. “We heard how fans wanted closer parking tothe track and now they are only 25-feet from the speedway property. Hopefully fans appreciate what Charlie Shaw(track owner) and our staff are trying to do to help the race fans from allover American and the residents of Randolph County; we truly care about all ofthem.”
The parking lot sits adjacent to the access road to the speedwayand can be entered into as soon as fans turn in off of State Route 32. The lot will be lighted for the evening raceson Friday and Saturday.
Trailers, haulers and campers are not permitted to enter the lotand will be towed at the owner’s expense. Fans are also asked to keep their four-wheelers (UTV) and golf carts offthe property. Any inappropriate activityon the lot will also force security to remove the offenders from that propertyas well as Winchester Speedway.
