Racing is a blast during the Winchester 400 weekend. Now fans, teams will have another reason toenjoy the traditional fall weekend (October 9 - 11) at Winchester Speedway in Indiana.
Speedway officials have announced two concerts that will occurafter the races are completed on Friday and Saturday evening. The concerts will be free-of-charge for allwho want to socially-distance gather in the grandstands of Winchester Speedwayafter the races are over on both evenings.
Saturday’s big concert will feature the lead singer for countrymusic recording artist Kevin Dedmond of Dirty Grass Soul. Demond brings a fresh sound to the musicindustry with a blend of Country, Bluegrass and Southern Rock. The concert is slated for 8pm.
Friday’s event will spotlight the Gene Deer Band, an AmericanBlues, Rock and Country act. The populargroup is based in Indianapolis and is featured regularly at the Slipper NoodleBlues Bar & Restaurant in the “Circle City.” Friday’s concert will also begin at 8pm.
Winchester Speedway’s invites all Randolph County residents toshow our appreciation of their support of this event. Both concerts are free to the public, whetheryou are a race fan or not.
