GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS LOWERED FOR KING OF HIGHBANKS WEEKEND

Ticket prices for the Vore’s Welding and Steel King of the Highbanks presented by JEGS have been lowered. The General Admission ticket (all but the top three rows of the grandstands) for either Saturday, September 4 or Sunday, September 5 is now at $20 – a savings of $10 per ticket as previously advertised.

All fans who had already purchased General Admission tickets have been contacted. They all will be receiving free event t-shirts at our Winchester Speedway gift shop – a $25 dollar value.

“You spoke and we listened. We had some changes to our schedule to accommodate racing at another nearby track and a series pulling out of the event due to a change in their schedule, so we didn’t think it was fair to keep the general admission price at what it was,” said Bob Dillner, Promoter of Winchester Speedway. “We love our fans and we listen to them. We had been dealing with so many things after the schedule change to ensure the exciting nature of the event that we didn’t even think about ticket prices until our fans spoke up. We thank them for bringing that to our attention.”

The weekend is chock full of racing and plenty of fun. Nearly 40 Vore’s Compact Touring Series machines and Pro Late Models from the JEGS / CRA All-Stars Tour will take part in Saturday’s racing action. Super Late Models will also participate in two Lighting Rounds, which will pay money to those that participate in the practice session. CRA Street Stocks are also invited to practice on Saturday.

On Sunday, it’s the Fly Over States 150 presented by JEGS for the Super Late Models. This high-dollar event will feature 150 daring laps around the World’s Fastest Half Mile. The purse for this event is more than doubled compared to the traditional Labor Day weekend purse for CRA Super Series. Also on the card will be 40 laps for the CRA Street Stocks. To cap off the night, a fireworks show will illuminate the sky over the World’s Fastest Half Mile.

All tickets for the King of the Highbanks weekend (September 4 & 5) will be General Admission except for the top-three rows. The top-three rows are reserved tickets only. Tickets for the King of the Highbanks and the Lucas Oil Winchester 400 are available at winchesterspeedway.com/tickets.
