GET 50 PAY 50 FOR 50 – BIG BUCKS FOR THE LUCAS OIL WINCHESTER 400

Not only is the guaranteed purse for the Lucas Oil Winchester 400 the largest purse in the event’s 50-year history, but there is a chance for it to be one of the biggest paydays of 2021 for one lucky driver.

Winchester Speedway is pleased to announce the Get 50 Pay 50 For 50 challenge for the biggest event in the facility’s more than 100-year history on October 15 – 17.

If 50 cars show up for the crown jewel event in Super Late Model racing, Winchester Speedway will pay $50,000 to the winner of the historic 50th running of the Lucas Oil Winchester 400.

“We wanted to go big and we’ve done that with the guaranteed purse, but we wanted to do something special for the 50th Lucas Oil Winchester 400 and that’s why we will put $50,000 on the line if we get 50 Super Late Models for the race,” said Bob Dillner, Promoter of Winchester Speedway. “This race is a crown jewel of Super Late Model racing and with it being the golden running of the event, it makes it even more special. We’ve been talking to a lot of drivers and there’s great interest in the event already!”

With 50 Super Late Models attempting the weekend, it would also boost the entire purse to more than $150,000. At that time last place would pay $2,000.

The guaranteed purse for the Super Late Model portion of the weekend is already nearly $110,000. The event currently pays $25,000 to win and $1,500 to start. The ARCA / CRA Super Series continues to sanction the event for Winchester Speedway.

“The racers deserve it, but they need to support it as well,” continued Dillner. “If pavement late model racing wants to be like dirt racing with big money paydays across the board, they need to support races like this. We want to do even more than this and will in the future. We have so much planned for racers and fans alike during the Lucas Oil Winchester 400 weekend; it’s going to be one heckuva party.”

All tickets for the weekend are available now at winchesterspeedway.com/tickets. Pit passes for the weekend are available on the Pit Pay app (available on all major platforms). Trackside Parking will also be available on the Pit Pay App. And while camping is sold out on the grounds of Winchester Speedway, the staff would be happy to recommend other campgrounds in the area of hotels that are a short drive from the speedway.
