Bringing Back Old Races to Winchester Speedway

RECORD PURSE GUARANTEED FOR 50TH LUCAS OIL WINCHESTER 400

The 50th Lucas Oil Winchester 400 will be one of the highest-paying Super Late Model races in America.

The 2021 edition of the race, on Sunday, October 17, will pay a guaranteed $25,000 to the winner, nearly $10,000 more than the winner’s share from one year ago.

Not only will the winner see a pay increase, the big money will spread out throughout the rest of the top-five. Second place will now get $12,000, third moves to $10,000, while fourth and fifth will earn $8,000 and $7,000, respectively. The Winchester 400 will pay $1,500 to start.

Overall, the purse is a record in the 50-year history of the Winchester 400.

There will also be bonuses and lap money for drivers to cash in on during the race. More details will be released soon.

There is extra incentive to enter for this year’s Winchester 400. As part of the Get 50 Pay 50 For 50 promotion, if 50 cars show up for the race, the winner’s share increases to $50,000 to win. The rest of the purse increases throughout the field as well. In fact, the race will pay $2,000 just to start if that mark is achieved.

Three great days of racing highlight the Winchester 400 Weekend presented by JEGS from October 14-17, 2021. Friday will feature the Vores Compact Touring Series with the “Compact Kingdom” event, as well as the CRA / JEGS All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model race and a post-race concert. The Midwest Modifieds Tour highlight Saturday’s racing card with the CRA Street Stocks and Sportsman in action prior to a fireworks show to cap the night. That all leads up to the 50th Lucas Oil Winchester 400 on Sunday, which will be seen live on MAVTV network television.

All tickets for the weekend are available now at winchesterspeedway.com/tickets. Pit passes for the weekend are available on the Pit Pay app (available on all major platforms). Trackside Parking will also be available on the Pit Pay App. And while camping is sold out on the grounds of Winchester Speedway, the staff would be happy to recommend other campgrounds in the area of hotels that are a short drive from the speedway.
